Self-advocacy for the NDIS

Self-Advocacy for the NDIS (Mental Health) is a workbook that was developed following a co-design process, in partnership with Victorian Mental Illness Awareness Council (VMIAC) and Tandem. The booklet is designed to assist NDIS participants and prospective participants to navigate the NDIS.

It covers the following topics:

  • self-advocacy
  • applying for the NDIS
  • NDIS Plans (from preparation to implementation)
  • NDIS appeals and reviews for eligibility and plans
  • supports that do not need NDIS funding
  • tips for support people.
