Information now available in community languages

Information about our service is now available in 12 community languages.

Manager of IMHA Helen Makregiorgos says, 'We know that people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds often don't access mental health services for a number of reasons. Often they are not aware of what's available or can't get information in their own language.

'IMHA is committed to working to ensure communities know we exist and how to contact us. The postcards are one strategy and we are also reaching out to community organisations to promote the service.'

The languages are: Simplified Chinese, Greek, Italian, Spanish, Vietnamese, Dari, Macedonian, Arabic, Serbian, Traditional Chinese, Turkish and Persian.
