How to contact us via phone, email, post, or via our online contact form.

If you are receiving, or at risk of receiving, compulsory treatment and would like support, or would like to know more about getting support for another person:

Call us on 1300 947 820 between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm seven days a week or email contact@imha.vic.gov.au

We have First Nation advocates. Let us know if you would like to speak to a First Nation advocate.

You can also call 1800 959 353 to hear a free recording of your rights. This phone line is available 24 hours a day.

By law, we will contact you at key points if you are experiencing compulsory treatment. Learn how to tell us not to contact you.

‘I don’t think I could have got through all of this if it wasn’t for you, I’m really speechless. Your help would help anyone in my position to move forward with their lives, you’re the best help I’ve had.’
